The $50 billion+ agri-inputs industry faces significant challenges due to fragmented, diversified, and seasonal demand. Traditional brick-and-mortar supply chains have limited product variety, maintain excessive inventory, require high working capital and are unable to meet farmers' needs in a timely manner. Over 40,000 MSME agri-input manufacturers rely on these inefficient, data-dark supply chains, negatively impacting their profitability.
While the ideal solution would be direct delivery from manufacturers to farmers—similar to how platforms like Swiggy and Zomato operate—the costs are prohibitive. Additionally, farmers often need local farming advice, which makes direct delivery impractical.
At Agrim, we are building a just-in-time e-commerce platform for local shops that farmers trust. These stores gain access to 30,000+ products through our platform, offering far more variety than traditional options.
